Azure Made Easy
Migrate Your Servers To Azure
Migrating your physical infrastructure to Azure provides savings in resources, maintenance, and real estate costs. Below are the key benefits of Azure Cloud infrastructures:
Enhanced security
Many public clouds have built-in security features and specialized cloud security tools to help ensure that an organization's resources are protected. Security patching is done automatically by the cloud provider in many cases.
Simplified management and monitoring
Organizations can manage and monitor their on-premises datacenter and cloud resources from a single screen if the cloud provider offers a central management tool.
Compliance
Some cloud platforms have specialized offerings to seamlessly meet compliance requirements—this is ideal for highly regulated industries like finance, healthcare, and governmental.
Backup, recovery, and failover
Most cloud providers help improve business continuity by offering built-in, one-click backup and recovery capabilities. Some providers also offer the ability to store backups in different geographic regions.
Flexibility and scalability
- Organizations only pay for the cloud resources that they use, meaning that they don't need to pay for and maintain IT assets that they use less.
- When demand spikes or the organization needs a more powerful computing resource, organizations can alter their resources instantly on demand.
- To continue to reap value from their existing IT investments, many organizations adopt a hybrid cloud model, where they migrate some of their workloads to the cloud, while keeping others in their existing on-premises environment (there can be industry compliance benefits to hybrid clouds, too).
- Most cloud platforms maintain a global presence so that organizations can improve performance by running workloads closer to where their users or customers are.
Azure Active Directory
Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) is a cloud-based identity and access management service. This service helps your employees access external resources, such as Microsoft 365, the Azure portal, and thousands of other SaaS applications. Azure Active Directory also helps them access internal resources like apps on your corporate intranet network, along with any cloud apps developed for your own organization.
Symmetric IT Group utilizes Azure AD to automate user provisioning between your existing Windows Server AD and your cloud apps, including Microsoft 365.

Azure InTune
Azure InTune is Microsoft‘s approach to managing mobile devices. Intune uses protocols or APIs available in mobile operating systems to execute tasks, such as enrolling devices. Enrollment lets Symmetric IT Group personnel maintain an inventory of devices able to access enterprise services. Other tasks include configuring mobile devices, providing certificates and Wi-Fi and virtual private network profiles, and compliance reporting regarding corporate standards. Intune integrates with Azure Active Directory to provide access control capabilities.
